Reputation score not allowing further translation

Hi.

Just wanted to add some translations, and found out that my "reputation score" is not enough for that:

To do this action your reputation (☯) must be at least 80%

As I haven't played enough games (and reputation grows by 1 point at each game played), I'm still down at 77%.

I think it is ridicolous to limit the chances to translate to reputation descending from the number of games played, I don't really see the link. Actually, I consider it a bit offensive too...

Hope you can change this, otherwise you've lost one of your translators, as I won't bother coming back to translations forum if I have to check every time what is my reputation.

This was the case before : you used to reach "Angel" grade to do translations.

Now we removed "Angel" grade and replace it with a condition (>80 reputation) which is not so different than the previous "Angel". The only thing is that we introduced the Reputation score 1 month ago and you finished only 2 games since then => this explains why you have 77 now.

If I was good enough for translations before, I should still be good enough now: I really see no reason for being "demoted", and I think you miscalculated the new reputation system formula, that's it. I suggest you review it and possibly fix it.

A bit strange that the new game-reputation system in this way rather discourages than encourages people to contribute to BGA.
Is it really not possible to change this?

I just think that the Karma idea was a huge mistake. They opened to tons of complains and degrading humans. Someone with bad karma is not a bad person.
