What is the Ultimate Contest?
This is a Contest organized by Bombyx, Multiverse and Board Game Arena using the new game "Legendary Inventors" by Fred Henry.
What are the prizes?
The winners are going to receive one copy of each future game produced by publishers Bombyx and Monolith, including Legendary Inventors and Conan, for the rest of their lives.
Who will be the winners?
On November 6th, at 20:00 CET, the 3 first players from the BGA leaderboard (best ELOs) for Legendary Inventors (the one you can see on this page) to fulfill the conditions below will be the winners.
The conditions are the following :
Anyone from anywhere in the world (except underage players, for legal reasons).
You don't need to be a BGA Club member to participate.
Note : shipping is of course included in the prize.
When does it start?
As soon as the game is online on BGA: October 24th 2016 at 20:00 CEST.
When does it end?
November 6th 2016 at 20:00 CET.
Where are the rules of the game?

(please post links on the previous page if you find other interesting web pages to learn the game)
Why is the game only available for 4/5 players for the contest?
Legendary Inventors is a very different game with 2 players (very interesting, more aggressive).
But for this contest we obviously need that all of you play the same game.
With the publisher and the game designer, we selected the 4/5 players configuration because the majority of players enjoy this configuration the most.
What if there are bugs / wrong rules / technical issues?
The digital adaptation of the game and the BGA adaptation must be used "as it is".
We paid a lot of attention to have a bug free and a stable adaptation for the contest, but if there are some remaining issues you must deal with them. You will not be able to contest a game or the result of the contest because of any technical issue.
About cheating
If you want to pretend to winning the contest, you must play each game to try to get the best position in each game (ex: 2nd if you cannot win). Kingmaking (ie playing a move in favour of another player while it does not bring you anything) is forbidden.
It is of course forbidden to cheat the system by playing several players at the same table.
After November 6th, we will review ALL games of the 3 first players. If there is any doubt about some games or some moves, the player will be disqualified. It won't be possible to contest this decision.
Piece of advice to be 100% sure not to be disqualified :
Why did some players play games before the Contest?
For testing purposes. These players are of course not authorized to win a prize
Can I play turn-based?
Of course you can.
Why using ELO for this contest?
Because using ELO allows us to make a contest with everyone participating.
Organizing a tournament with a specific date/time would have prevented some of you to participate.
Will the game stay on BGA after the contest?
Yes

Piece of advice to be 100% sure not to be disqualified :
- Don't play any games with someone at the same place than you, or play it with ELO 'off'.
- Don't play too much with the same opponents (or play with ELO off): the biggest number of opponents you have, the safer you are.
- Do not create several accounts to participate to the contest.
- Always play to get the best position/score in a game, so you can justify all your moves.
