Tournament Filtering

The tournament filtering needs more options:

Turn-Based or Real-Time or Both
Start Date ranges (within the next week, 30 days, 60 days, etc.)
Include/Exclude Invitation Only tournaments
Prestige Limits (show only tournaments I can legally join)

I don't want to see 12 out of 15 tournaments per page I cannot join. That makes its a clunky tournament interface.

Definitely second this for filtering on only tournaments that I can join, and real-time vs turn-based.

Tournaments page should be more comfortable.
We actually need filters described in 1st post of the topic.
Tournament options (game options, exansions, allocated time, ELO) should be shown on main page.
The system when you see only tournaments for one game isn't comfortable. Maybe something like "Games I want to play" will work better. Also some sorting tool will be useful like sort tournaments by starting time and by game.
And players should have ability to subscribe to tournaments. When a new tournament is created, players who subscribed to tournaments on this game will receive a message. I think there should be a choice between email and BGA message.

I totally agree. There should be at least more filters.
Ideally all this page should be redesigned but i guess this takes time.

Completely agree with this suggestion. Redesign may take some time but maybe it can be done stepwise:
- First SHOW the information that will help a user search for the proper tournaments himself. e.g. show rank limitations, tournament format etc. This will save a lot of time by not 'committing' to a game and checking dates etc, just to find out that you don't qualify.
- Then as a second enhancement add some ordering logic + filtering logic.
