I just noticed it once so other people should maybe try!
I joined a game with elo off. Before starting the game the host (who is a Spanish speaker if I remember well) change to elo on. Due to this change, in the chat i could read "elo rating has been changed to 'activado' ".
My point is: it seems translation dont work for setting change.
