Why no war games?

Why are there so few (if any) war games on BGA? Are people not interested in them? My favorite game on BGA is currently Polis because it is both a game of war and economy.

Obviously can only give my opinion, but I personally have no interest in them. But there are a variety of different sorts of games, so I could see the point of including one or two into the mix.
