Recently I have played Caylus and Stone Age here. I like to play slow games where players make a few moves per day. Here are some small suggestions for programmers to make especially those turn-based games play faster/smoother. I couldn't find them mentioned on the forum.
Stone Age:
Many civilization cards give all players one good. The current player gets to choose first and after that the next player in turn order chooses. Everyone gets one good from the randomized pool of goods. My suggestion is that the last player is given the last good automatically. Just give the last player a notification of what he has automatically received.
Caylus
Do not ask a player whether he wants to move the provost or build a part of castle, if he does not even have resources to do so.
