undo in Race for the Galaxy

I find it very annoying when a card is clicked and an unintended action is the result. ie if you are trying to read what a card is by hovering over it while determining which one to discard all of a sudden its gone. Also when determining which phase you want is would be nice to be able to change your mind up until your competitors have locked in their picks. Until all the competitors have locked in their move there should be a button to unlock your pick and change things along with an undo button in case the wrong card it discarded.

I've wanted such a feature as well, but I think it would be very hard to do. There's basically a race between you and the other player(s), so they may have just locked-in their decision as you're trying to undo yours, so there would be times when undo works and times when you "just missed it", or never even had the chance. So never having the option at all makes things a bit more clear/consistent (or does the system have to wait N seconds after every decision in case a player decides to undo, that would slow everything down). I've had a few times where I accidentally hit settle instead of develop and blew the entire game in RtfG, but with a fast opponent the undo button would be useless and with a slow opponent it would only make things slower if they decided while you're changing your decision. Half the time I don't realize that I hit the wrong phase until it gets played, so it would have been too late for undo anyhow.

I don't quite get how mousing over a card could turn into a click, that's never happened to me. Are you using a trackpad and tap-to-click or something like that? If so you might want to consider turning that off while playing RtfG. Just a thought. - Will
