"I will be running series of tournaments in October, you can play in as many as you like. (You can find the set of 10 tournaments if you search by "Event" on the competition page.) I will keep an overall table of winners to see who is the OCTOBER DECATHALON CHAMPION.
- Registration will be open to anyone, but if you want to rank well in the decathalon, I encourage you to sign up for as many as you can.
- ONLY YOUR TOP EIGHT FINISHES WILL BE COUNTED, so you can do poorly in some and still do well overall.

1st place - 12pts
2nd -- 9pts
3rd -- 7pts
4th -- 5pts
5th -- 4pts
6th -- 3pts
7th -- 2pts
8th -- 1pts
*Ties in tournaments will be decided by head-to-head results of the tied players, and if unable to resolve that way, they will remain ties.
*In case of ties, pts are added and divided amongst the tied players, ex. 3 players tie for 4th place, (5pts + 4pts + 3pts) / 3 = 4pts each"
