Hello, just a few advice for beginners:
- when you've got 2 cards of same colour, there is only 1/19 (approx 5% chance) that you can make two turns without cut.
- Then Most often you make only one turn with a colour, the second at least someone will not provide colour.
- When you have Ace and 10 in a non-trump colour, and your partnair took the bet, if you not provide trump to your partnair, put your Ace to warn you have the 10.
- Keep your 10 WHEN YOUR PARTNAIR TAKES... If you're against the bet, don't keep your 10 when your partnair put ACE, because you have low chance (5%) of making a second turn... so in case YOUR PARTNAIR DON'T TAKES THE BET, GIVE 10 when your partnair play ACE.
- When you take without the J, and a 9 without ACE, take care of who begins, because your partnair will begin trump to make them fall, and you risk to give your 9... Without J, let's prefer to take the Bet if you got 9 ACE and a third trump , ACE here to protect 9.
- When Your Partnair Takes and you begin trump, put your higher trump to make fall the higher trump for following opponent. ... after, if your higher is 9, even in this case (but it depends of players) I prefer partnair play even his 9.... to show he has... because the one who takes the bet, manages the game, and if he takes, he manages the fact not to have the 9.
- if you've got 4 cards of same colour, and your team is against the bet, if you begin, try to put a card of this colour, because your partnair has a chance to cut and save a big trump... if it's opponents team who cuts, it's good also, they lose a trump.
- If you're against the bet, you try to save points (ACE/10...) ... but if your team takes the bet, try to keep higher cards with the risk to lose them... don't save an ace on your partnair... this ACE could take a turn.
- if your partnair take the bet, and you cannot provide trump, use this time to make a call: a low card like a 7 means you have an ace in this colour. A big card like a 10 means you save points and you don't have ace /or your 10 was alone.
