Tokaido: Village - Stop player if select an item then click Don't Buy

Post by OldSlowCoach »

I would really, really appreciate this very minor enhancement to Takaido:
If I go to the Village, and I click on one or more items, then I click Don't Buy, PLEASE stop me. Force me to unselect the items to click Don't Buy (like Jaipur won't let you trade 3 goods for 4 -- like that).
I cannot tell you how many times I select an item, go check my items and other player's purchased items to make sure it's a good idea, come back and click Don't Buy when I mean Buy. (I can't explain it, either. I think my wife is a witch.)
Today I lost 10 points and the game ( Tokaido n°43523412 ) because I did this.
I know I am saying "Save me from myself" -- but: please do so!
Thanks
This is a great site.

I wonder how many things in how many games someone could do wrong because of something like this. There was a game of this I should have won except for something that happened at an inn, and I didn't get my food or my 6 points, and I'm not even sure what happened. But I'm assuming I clicked on the wrong thing. My fault, my problem. Your fault, your problem. (OK, maybe your wife is a witch. I have no wife to blame it on.)

The problem with "save me from myself" is that every person has their own quirky things that they do, and they can't be taking the time to constantly make these changes to satisfy everyone's little issues. Seriously, think about that - you're only thinking about your one quirk in this one game, but if we polled every player, I bet we could come up with tons of these kind of things. In fact, think about how often a request is made to make an Undo, which would take care of all those types of problems, and that has never been done, and may never be.
