Contribute to already published game?

Is there a way to find the developer of an already published game, and help out with some improvements?

I want to help improve the layout of Puerto Rico. It would be ideal if the code was on Github somewhere and I could play around with it and submit a PR.

When you look at a game page (e.g. https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=puertorico) one of the tags is 'Developed By'. If that is 'Board Game Arena' (like in the case of Puerto Rico) then the site admins implemented the game and you may need to contact them (studio(at)boardgamearena.com).
For other developers their code with be in the studio https://en.studio.boardgamearena.com and you can request access to the code directly for each game in there.

Puerto Rico was developed by admins, so code is likely not in studio (if it is you would search for that project name in projects section)
