Co-operative Games to consider

Post by Caeman »

Considering the state of a good portion of the world, I think adding some cooperative games might be a nice inclusion to the list, and how thematic that at the top of my list for co-op games happens to be Pandemic. Others are Forbidden Island, Forbidden Desert, Elder Sign and Eldritch Horror.

+1 for Eldritch Horror!
+1 for Pandemic!

If it's possible, perhaps adding Betrayal at the House on the Hill too?

Yeah, I think Pandemic would be a great game to introduce.

Yes, Yes, Yes to cooperative games! I guess Magic Maze doesn't make sense here!

But, Pandemic +1 and Forbidden.. +1

Thanks!

I think we can rule out Pandemic - I don't know of many games that have come out on here after having an App made, so I could easily see Asmodee completely refusing to let Pandemic be added.

My suggestions (as made in another thread) are
-Fuse (though they'd need to do something about the dice stacking cards, and it definitely needs the voice chat activated)
-Flashpoint Fire Rescue (they could put up one map on here so there was an incentive for people who liked it to buy the full game and expansions)
-Samurai Spirit (I think it's close to being out of print)
-Bomb Squad (out of print, programming game that uses some Hanabi mechanics)
-Defenders of the Realm (I think it's out of print)
-Jupiter Rescue (out of print)

I'm figuring it would easier to get an Out of print game converted since it might give the publisher a reason to do a revamped edition if it gets enough interest. I'd also be intrigued if something like Forbidden Island could be considered since it is an intro game to a series, or for something like Freedom: The Underground Railroad where the publisher might allow it because of the educational value

Definitely up for seeing more co-op games, (and team games and hidden movement games), Hanabi isn't enough!

Yes, I want cooperative game options! I love Pandemic but agree it isn't likely to be added. What about Forbidden Island or the desert version of that?

Do I need to do anything else to get a licensing approval? I'd like to start working on it, but I'm not sure how to proceed: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... 174#p54174
