Does anybody know which game these stones belong to?

I got these stones (see picture) together with a bunch of other games. They don't belong to any of the other games, so they must be a game of their own. Does anybody know which game these stones belong to? Would be highly appreciated if you could let me know.

No . . . but I hope we can find out! There's gotta be someone in our community who recognizes these pieces!

Several years ago . . . a couple of decades, I guess, since my daughter is about to turn 30 years old . . . I bought a bag of assorted wooden game pieces at a thrift store for just a few dollars. It was a jumble of colourful shapes and figures . . . squirrels . . . Red Riding Hood . . . wolf . . . sacks of grain with pictures of mice . . . cat . . . discs with pictures of acorns . . . various dice . . . chess and checker pieces . . . and more. My daughter made up her own games and stories as she played . . . they provided hours and hours of fun.

We've got some clues in your picture . . . a counting game? . . . a stacking game? . . . a roll out the pieces game? . . . a colour matching game? . . . or some other sort of game altogether?
