First a disclaimer. My first instinct was to share this with the devs and not in the forum, so as to avoid tipping off anybody who might be inclined to take advantage of it. So that's what I did, but devs thought it would be better to air it out. That way we can see if the community considers it a problem and, if so, what to do about it.
I thought of an unfair strategy that could be used to game the system in arena mode. The issue is that games which are not completed at the end of the season don't count. An unscrupulous player could take advantage of this by starting many turn-based games near the end of the season, then intentionally dragging out the ones they were losing, and quickly completing the ones they were winning.
My opinion is that it would be better if there could be some guarantee the games end by the end of the season, similar to how it works with tournament games. But maybe some of the smart players on this site can come up with something better.
