Hi guys,
I'm a big fan of 5 player TacPro game, and thought it might be nice to start a (unofficial) tournament where we could play this variant, as there is not a big probability to get multiple players tournaments any time soon.
5 player TacPro Cup! - Edition 1 - Rules.
- The games will be played in 5 players, with these settings:
** Normal mode
** Real-time - normal speed +0:29 per turn (maximum 2:27)
** Tactics
** Professional
- There will 5 quartefinals, first 2 places in each QF go to semifinals.
- The first 2 places in each semifinal and the best 3rd place go to the final.
- Each table will play 4 games to establish the qualified players.
- The winner of a game will be awarded 6 points, 2nd place - 4 points, 3rd place - 2 points, 4th place - 1 point and the last place 0 points.
- In case of ties in a game, both (or all) players on the same position are awarded the points for that respective position.
- In case of ties in the final Standings, the sum of in-game points difference to the 1st place in each game will be the first criteria for a break (the smaller number wins), then most 1st places, most 2nd places... and so on. If the tie persists, the best score in a game, then the 2nd best one... and so on.
- The Standings will have to be updated after each game by one of the players, the table opener will be assigned do to it, but if him/her don't want to keep the score, just let the opponents know and one of them should step up. In case there was an observer at the table, they could do it if they wanted.
- The games of phase 1 have to be played within the period 27 May - 7 June.
- The players will have to post their availability, on the thread or via personal message to me for this period, with days and hours (please use only CET!), so we can find a common date for all players at a table.
- Please take in consideration the fact that you'll have to be online for about 2 hours at that date.
- In case one player doesn't show up at the time established for play, we'll try to find a replacement from the users online.
- If no replacement is found, one neutral player could play (from players in other QFs or a player who only wants to play outside the competition). The results of this player will not count for the Standings, but the players behind him/her will get the points for their own position, not advance a place (eg. Neutral player finishes 4th in a game. The 5th placed player will get the points for 5th position - 0)
- In case one player quits before all games are played, the Neutral player rule applies.
- In case one player quits in the middle of the game, that game is cancelled, and restarted with a neutral player. If it happened to be the 1st game of the phase, the neutral player could become part of the competition, if they wanted.
(If you feel there was anything to change or add to the Rules, please do mention it in the thread)
