Newbie question

I'm playing Through the Ages with two friends (I am a paying member, one of them is too, the other is not).
We can't find the option to play with war and Era III.

The reason is maybe because we are not all premium members?

When the table was created, probably the option "Handbook" (not complete game) version was selected. In the handbook variety, there are no attack (war cards) and the game ends when age 2 ends (no age 3).

If you want war and full game, select Full game version when creating the table.

I stumbled across the same issue.
Would be nice if there was an explanation about what "Handbook" variant actually means when you set up the game
