a couple of days ago I had my IP banned. But what happened?
My younger brother showed me BGA and we played together (as in both of us as the same person in-game). Because BGA remembers the account when you enter later, I didn't bother with creating my own, so I just kept playing from his own. A few days later it appeared to me that the account had a chat restriction, but my brother did not want to comment on it. A few more days pass and one morning I get up and see that my IP has been banned from accessing BGA. My brother showed me the conversations he had with the moderators, where he insulted them multiple times and to no surprise he gets punished.
The problem is that now when I want to play, I cannot access BGA from my home network, even though I had not involved myself in any reportable behaviour. I tried contacting the moderators explaining them this situation in hopes that they would show some understanding and lift the ban (under the condition that if any other sign of misconduct is reported from this account/IP, they can ban it again and I would not contest anymore) . The moderators answered briefly telling me they would not allow access back and to ask my brother about the emails, which I could not understand, because in my letter I already told them I was aware of the emails and had also apologized for the words he used there. Any further attempt at contacting the BGA support was to no avail. Nothing.
My problem with this is that nowhere is it stated, nor warned that my IP can be banned from accessing the site. How can I know that is even possible and how are all the other people using the same network responsible for one persons misconduct? By all means this IP ban is not justified and all I wish for is one last chance or whatever you want to call it. I can't just move out or change my IP. And on top of this the BGA support won't answer anything.
The past few days I was using a free trial of a VPN in hopes to get some answers from the BGA moderators, but nothing. No one cares. I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I am all out of options.
