Question about Playing on Same Connection

I was hoping somebody might know this. Me and my partner used to do couples board game nights with another couple. Now due to social distancing we can't but we are hoping to use this site to replicate that.

So playing would mean that there are two of us at each internet connection. I know shared IP address is a premium feature, but my question is:

Does only one of us need a premium account, or do we need a premium account at both locations?

(Because I am happy to buy premium, but I wouldn't ask my friends to do the same I would want to know this before I buy)

Only one premium account is needed at the table to remove the "multiple players from same IP" restriction.
