Why is the Area mode so restrictive?

Hi,

When one is in the queue for an arena game , one is not allowed to do anything else on the site.
Like for example go to the forum. What is the reason for that?

The queue for terra mystica takes long and i am forced to starr at a screen.

Open a new tab.

They probably made it so because arena games start automatically without player confirmation.

not to hijack this thread, but this issue is related. When you're starting an arena game and are on a different tab(s). all the tabs get redirected to the game, which can be pretty annoying if you're making a forum post or analyzing a game or doing anything really.
