Disable or Mute chat option?

What do people think about having a disable or mute/hide chat option?

YES! I came to the forums looking for exactly this. I would like to be able to opt out of chat entirely -- apparently I'm not very good at chat with strangers on this website. Why make their experience--and mine--less pleasant? Would be great to be able to display "this player does not chat" in the same way it will sometimes say of someone, "the moderators do not allow this player to chat" [or something like that]. But being able to do it yourself.

Some games need this option, like Hanabi.
Although browser script or plugins like adblock can hide the chat window, it does not affect or notify other users.

I would love to see this option been automatic on arena mode.
