Moderations

Post by Yllia »

I would have liked to wrote an opinion on Illegal moderation, so I write it here. Ze Monstah is a player who takes games very seriously (something totally legitimate and maybe annoying), that's why sometimes he say a bad word. Something that can obviously be reported. But according to the conversation contributed by him on the thread Illegal Moderation, it has nothing to do with this time. It is clear that both players were in a bad mood in that game. Although I think Monstah had a little more reason to get angry, as he was being called toxic. But hey, without being a moderator or anything like that, I think the penalty is too high for both players.

As a personal opinion (and knowing that I have also given several reports). I think it is healthy for a page to be able to debate on these kinds of issues, always with respect. I imagine moderating this site will be difficult. But that does not imply that we can´t try to improve or so. Greetings.

Thanks for your opinion.

As explained on the other post, the moderation has been reviewed by several moderators. It was not a very big penalty and it was 100% appropriate. The bigger penalty received by the player since then is also appropriate considering that he didn't show any kind of respect for the rules of this service and its moderators.

Remember one thing: you don't have all the information, while the moderators (using the... 19 reports about this player) do have all the needed information and know exactly what they are doing.

Obviously, this post is going to degenerate so it will be locked, like any other posts concerning this subject (which is not a subject anymore one our side: this is a closed one).
