Trouble: zoom and iPhone8

Any secrets on the zoom/viewability on smaller phones? I tried playing with turning off the auto zoom in the options. On, it flits back too small to see the icons (older color blind fellow here) or off and setting the zoom it cuts off the left edge and right edge (can’t see the costs on wonders, etc) and can’t scroll to the sides.

Any tips would be nice (please hold all the “upgrade to xyz device” type comments, they aren’t funny).

I have been facing the same issue on iPhone SE, where I selecting the card to play was almost impossible (I always had the "info" on the card...)
And a lot of Zoom/Unzoom (leading my opponent to exlude me from the game, after being unvoluntarily 'out of time')

One improvement (it creates some other global usability issues) is to go into your browser settings and force to desktop. In iOS, hit the general settings and scroll down to Safari (BGA seems to not freeze as much in the innate browser - I use chrome for EVERYTHING else on my phone).

Sort of jacks with the nice scaling features of the rest of the site, but at least you can see the cards and all of them!

confirming that same happens on iphone7 - makes the game unplayable on phone.

also noting that it works awesomely on android - zoom in zooms the card images as well

I am having a zoom issue as well on my Samsung s10 android. I cannot see some cards as it auto zooms as I scroll down and I cannot scroll left or right on my phone. Please find a fix. Not playable on the phone.
