Clicking on pointer

This has nothing to do with the site itself, I think, but just wondering if anyone else has this issue - when I open the chat window in a game and go to activate my pointer, a scroll bar at the bottom of my browser window appears and moves where the pointer button is. Then I move the cursor up to click it and the scroll bar goes away. I'm usually in Chrome - does anyone else have this issue and know a fix for it?
