Like elo and player base.
:D didnt mean hanabi is bad though.
just they look alike to me.

Because of so many bugs and inconveniences, and seeing those problems not corrected for more than a month, this implementation feels much worse than 'updated' Hanabi to me.

For me, nope,
Hanabi force you to play with conventions or to think a lot more about each move pretty fast, while this game don't.

I don't think there will be any convention or optimizations asked on tables. Just basic logical things, nothing more.

Fortunately new update forces to notify conventions prior to game start.
At last we can set Conventions option to Standard and forget finesse or other convention stuff altogether...
