New Review/ Feedback system

So I just finished a game of backgammon and was prompted to review the game, first giving it 4 out of 5 stars but on the next screen I was able to add comments (not a bug which was also an option).

My question is will the developers have access to these comments and if so how will we get to them ?

I noticed on the rating a game page there wasn't an option for 'none', like I don't have a complaint.

Well, not me personally, but I've heard that some people sometimes feel that way around xmas.

This is a work in progress, but you will have the ability to see all the data for your games. You will be able to access it from Control Panel.

About feedback. If you give the game a 5 star rating, you will not see the next steps and survey will end immediately. If you give it lower rating we will ask you what can we improve. So if you have nothing to complain, why not give it a five stars? This seems logical, right?

I may not have any particular critique or observation, but that I just didn't like it as much as Frozen 2.

What exactly do you think the developers or BGA are going to do with this data? I think it may well turn into white noise, especially if you force people to take part.

This is not a question about the game itself, but for implementation. If you don't think the implementation is 5 stars, you can, I think, share the reasons why, at least in a broader sense whether it is because of bugs or the interface not being particularly good. Also any step of the survey is optional so you can opt out from any part of it.

About the second part. The idea is for us to get a data about the quality of games. this way we can see if there is some game that needs to be approved, of which we may not be aware.

Users are not forced to participate and may opt out from any part of survey including the survey as a whole. Furthermore, when user fills out a survey they will not be bothered for 30 days.

We try to filter a noise by introducing two options (specifically "I don't like the game" and "Needs more expansions"). I don't see how this data could not be useful, but you as a volunteer developer may feel free to ignore it.

There is some algorithm behind it, but it is expected that games that are not played enough could not have much data as we ask players for feedback after the game is played.
