There seem to be some kind of systemic issues going on with the awarding of Arena points. Kingdom Builder is the only game I play seriously in Arena, but there are posts about this issue scattered all over the place and in the bug reports.
Here's one about people promoting to Elite directly from Gold: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=29481 . This seems to be messing with the way Arena points are awarded as a result, but the dev for KB says it is an issue with the BGA framework (which makes sense - there's no reason why each game should re-program the Arena mode stuff).

Now,, am I posting this because I'm salty about a recent game? Sure.
I just started a game at Diamond 7 points, got matched up against 3 Elite players, won, and got +2 points. So now I'm at diamond 9, and I'm very frustrated by the continuing issues.
Is anyone seeing this elsewhere on the site? Every bug report I've seen refers just to Kingdom Builder, but I don't know enough abut the framework to know if it could somehow be messed up for just one game.
