Hi! I am new to the site. My wife and I are enjoying things. She would like to play CAN'T STOP and play it by herself, vs. a bot. Is this possible? If so, how do we do that?

Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
you can, you need her to create a new game, and in (free room players slots) there is a (play whit an computer) and the BGA robot will show.
Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
OK... both she and I have tried this and we cannot get this to work.
First, there is the issue of the fact that we cannot start a new game without another player selected, or a player being selected for us. This makes the second step of this process difficult...
I located a user names BGA Robot. But this does not appear to be a robot player I can add in... unfortunately.
So what is the name of a computer opponent I can put into the friends list that would allow me and here to set up solo play games?

Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
I must be missing something. And if I am, I am sorry for making this so difficult.
So I am on the main screen.
At the top, the menu bar has the cloud icon, "Play Now", "News", "Games", "Community", and "Forum."
I click on "Play Now."
I am presented with a three-part selection screen.
The first one is set to "Simple Game" (since I am not playing a "Tournament" or an "Arena" game).
The second is set to "Turn Based" (since I am not playing a "real time" game).
The third is set to "Friends" (the other options are "Automatic" which assigns me a human opponent, or "Manual" which allows me to join a table).
So... "Simple", "Turn Based", and "Friends." I go and click on a one-player game, or one that has the option for two players.
I do not want to play with a friend, so I select nobody. Then I click on the game... and the system tells me that I cannot create a game without selecting a friend to play with.
So in short: I do not see anywhere where I can select "[play with a computer]" at any stage in this process.

Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
You are missing that "Manual" not only allows you to join tables, but also to create new tables, and there you can find the computer opponent. To me, it is a funny idea that you were looking for a bot in the "Friends" Mode.
Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
I can certainly appreciate that you are getting a good laugh at my expense. I do. But, per your instructions above, I have tried Manual Mode as well. And no matter what I do here (e.g., set the game to Training Mode and reducing it to between 1 and 1 player), there is STILL NO DAMN SOLO OR PLAY AGAINST A BOT OPTION!
This is not just me. It is my wife. It is several friends of mine who are hardcore gamers, computer programmers, web developers, and otherwise very tech- and web-savvy people. The fact that none of us can figure this out indicates, to me, that this is a failure of the DAMN interface, not some failure of ours (haha, Friend Mode, amirite?). I get that I am funny in that I was trying Friend Mode thanks to a misunderstanding of what Manual Mode entails (haha, point and laugh and the newbie! So funny, let me tell you!). But this is becoming more and more frustrating as I ask around trying to figure this out and I am told it is simple and that I am just not doing it right.
So I ask you: assume, for example, I want to play Welcome To... by myself (either solo or vs. a BOT player). Walk me through this. Take me through this click-by-click. Tell me where I go, what I select, what links I click on. Because until I see this step-by-step instruction, I am going to assume that you are all just poking fun at the newbie -- which, I have to say, I most certainly do not appreciate at this point.

Re: Solo play vs. a bot?
So, once you set up the game in Manual Mode, set the number of players 1-1, put it in Training Mode, the "Open Table to Other Players" button will appear. Click on that confusingly named button. It will be replaced by a "Play Game" button. Then you will be playing solo mode.
