Arena new league during season?

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if in the current implementation of BGA Arena mode, it was possible that an intermediate league were introduced during the same season?
Meaning that the league did not exist for example at the beginning of Season X, but introduced later in that same season?
(This could be an automatic or manual addition based on the audiance being bigger?)

What makes me surmise that is the example of the game Coinche:

• In the current rank ladder, I have seen only Bronze, Silver and Elite players
• So I thought that there were only these leagues available for that game, at the beginning of the season
• Yet, when I reached Silver myself, I discovered that the next league was Gold
• Even at this moment, I see nobody being Gold
• Could Gold be a brand new league for that game?

Even if what I observed does not constitute a formal proof (it is possible that there have been Gold players from the beginning but they had all climbed to Elite quickly), it makes me wonder and tickle my curiosity.

Can somebody brings some light about what's really going on?
And maybe concur or infirm what I exposed.

they have added and subtracted leagues during a season. of course it has brought about a bunch of bugs in their system...yet they still do it...so hopefully these bugs won't prevent you from progressing through gold to elite.
