Anyone have a karma hit because the site timed out on you?

So at the start of a game the site, when trying to redirect me to a game, just died. Could not connect me to x.boardgamearena.com. When I finally got in a minute or so later, my opponent had expelled me, whatever, but because of that my karma has taken a hit. Not to mention my score went down. So very frustrating. One other time my power went out, ok, my problem, but this time it seems I'm being penalized for the site just dying.

Sorry, just venting. Sent a note to the site but I've never had that do anything.

Historically, whenever there has been a true BGA server issue (as determined by a drop in the server status page, https://boardgamearena.com/serverstatus ... ves_played), any karma penalties for leaving/timing out have been removed. These removals are by hand, though, and take some time to do.
ELO adjustment is more difficult to remove, so it isn't.
If the server status doesn't indicate an issue during the time in question, it is generally considered "not BGA's fault," and no adjustments are made.
