Reactivity in case of bugs ?

I did a game of backgammon at table #152932212
After the website found me an opponent in the arena, an url link appeared automatrically, as usual. But his link did not send me to the table but to a blank page with an error message. F5 did not resolve the problem, the link didn't seemed to work.
By going on boardgamearena and seeing my current game, I was able to go back inside the game, finish it and win it (despite a severe handicap , my opponent had play three turns without me). Unfortunately I had been declared absent and I lost karma, elo point and was declare looser.
I have already send a bug repport, and I asked if there I could get the point, that I losed through no fault of my own, back, but I don't have much hope.
Do you know how responsive the administrator are and if they usually give points back? Should I do something more?
