[SOLVED] Modify forum poll

Post by Woodruff »

Hi :)
Do you know any way to modify a poll that you created?
I want to make some adjustements only in the texts for option.
The goal is not to change the options overall (neither adding nor removing others) which would break the current votes.

(I would like to correct a mistake because I put <b> tags to try to enhance some part of the text but these tags did not compiled and appear raw; there were no way to preview that before publishing :? )

Thanks for your help :D
Take care,

Woodruff

Edit your opening post > 'Poll creation' tab

You should be freely able to edit the options without removing any votes. You can actually fully alter the options to misrepresent the already given votes...

Many thanks! That does the trick :D
Somebody replied in PM too. I guess I did not see that because the wording was "Create", but once you open it, you see what was already there and can truly modify it.

Side note: if you want to introduce some custom styling here, the forum tags (bold, italic, colored...) are still usable :) But HTML style won't be parsed, so use the syntax between brackets.

Definitely not the intent here but can be problematic indeed... I hope all the poll designers use that option wisely... No point making a poll if you have set your mind and want to enforce it no matter what...

Ah, I in no way meant to imply that that was your intent. But it is something to be mindful about.

Of course ;)
No harm done. I was just developping that subject.
