Abuse of Arena -- the calculated quit

What can be done for a player who has repeatedly quit a match where he expected to come in last, to minimize the Elite points in Arena that the other players would gain?

I have a specific player and game in mind, and my accusation is supported by a successful report and view of his play history in that game.

Yes, I would mind. It is inappropriate to a public forum. I will be happy to indicate to moderators 1) the report I filed against the player that garnered a Guilty verdict and gave that player a measly 3-day chat ban (the player had explicitly stated that said player was quitting to rob me of victory Elite points), 2) another instance where the player was well behind after the first round of the game, at which point the player quit, with plenty of time on the player's clock, while staying on-line, and 3) a game history with a decided number of game abandonments by the player.

It's not too spoilery to also mention that said player is currently squatting in the upper echelons of the game, and I think it more than logical to presume that, should that player ever play another instance of the game before season end, the player will pull the same stunt to minimize lower-ranked players' opportunity to rise in the ranks.

And I just finished another game (the same game title) where an Elite player quit, with plenty of time still on the clock, just to minimize Elite point gains for other players, since that player was guaranteed to end up in last place.

A perusal of that player's game history shows two other quits from that player while in Elite status within the last 2 weeks. It's unknown what that player's clock status was at the time, but I have my reasonable suspicions.

This is a Real Thing.
