I hope here is the right place to write this ; I've made a suggestion on the bug report system : https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=38284 (feel free to upvote it) but I don't feel like it will be heard there, as it is a problem pertaining neither to the site nor to the game, but to the way games are.
Here are my thoughts, with a bit of context first :
on table #162071664, my opponent was out of options and passed.
As I was making my final moves, that would result in my win and her loss, she cut the grass under my feet and conceded the game.
This is frustrating : She had no turn waiting, I still had some cards to buy, I didn't even get to the winning score of 10.
In strategical boardgames, all the pleasure comes from carefully deploying your strategy, I find it bad form to impeach it !
edit : Plus, for highly competitive players heavily set on the score and statistics, it wouldn't set them off by having unfinished games tampering their stats !
Maybe one of these suggestions might be implemented to help with this problem ?

- When a players leaves a game early, its opponents get to chose whether they want to quit the game or finish it. Why can't we do the same when someone concedes ? It would allow the other to finish their game peacefully !
- Or make it so you can only concede when it is your turn ? that way, you can't interrupt the round of the other player in thus a rude way !
