please add explanation for game variants/options

Some games have options you can choose from when starting a game.
Right now, these options are not explained anywhere as far as I can see. Some are self-expalining, some others have a few extra word in brackets to indicate the meaning, but other have no explanation at all.
e.g. in Puerto Rico you can add the option "ausgeglichenes Spiel (balanced game), but there is no explanation at all what it is supposed to mean.
It`s not a variant which can be found in the original rulebook either (but even if it were, it should still be explained here directly). It`s also not to be found on the games`s page here on BGA. So as far as I can see there no explanation anywhere, no proper way to find out what this means.

Even it is somewhre in the rulebook it would be annoyingly much work to search for that information (and rule books in different languages may differ, so some people might not find it in their language).

Therefore i think there should be an info button next to each selectable option, where you can get info what activation this option means.
Also on the game page, there shpould be list of available options implemented here (with detailed) explanations.

Yes. For Hanabi and for President (Beta) this is the case. It's not clear what the variants do.

Hi,
For Puerto Rico, you can find this information on the help page on BGA Wiki, which is reproduced in the "How to play" section, under the (sometimes misleading) title "Rules summary".
But I'm not sure at all that the game options for other games are often described on these help page, which should be the minimum. (And maybe it would be best to have them in a dedicated section somewhere more accessible, indeed.)

It might be best to log this as a bug for each instance that you find, especially where the variant is not described in the official manual.

Though when it is reported to the game devs of each game, their answer is usually "we can't do anything, as there is no way to add explanations in the game setup currently, the best we can do is to put them on the wiki, but it's still unpractical as players can't read them before setting up the table."
