In that maze mode, what is the difference between 'red-white forward' face and 'white-blue forward' face?

Almost nothing.
(1) If your two dices show the Red and the Blue, you trigger a special "puzzle" effect: roll the celestial dice once. (Having twice the same has no effect)
(2) Since you start with a Blue one, there is more Blue ones than Red ones, and since you need both of them to trigger the puzzle effect, this mean that there is more competition for the Red ones.

Thank you. The visual effect makes new players think that the effect of 'red forward' should be get 1 sun or forward 1, and similarly the blue one. (In addition, the Blue one replace the 1-moon face.)
