I have searched the forums and BGA site and can't find what I'm looking for so thought I'd ask here.
Is there a document or two on the BGA site that describes how each Tournament Style works?
And what the ramifications of making choices during the tournament are?
Such as when a person runs out of time and you get the option to skip them!
Are they out of the game, do the other players have to agree, or if just one of the players click that button they are ejected?
For example, I was just in a 4 player tournament game of Lucky Clovers, two people dropped out, one for time and one just quit, leaving two of us.
The game clearly said, all players will be winners, no bad karma points will be awarded if you quit.
But in a tournament how will it decide who the winner between those left?
Is it based on your remaining time, closest to winning, who quits last?
I had the most time, the other person had placed 2 more clovers than I had.
So if I'd quit as the game was saying I could do, would the other person win the round or would I or would both of us?
And if one of us won, is it based on who has the most time left of who is nearest to completing their card or something else?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Thank You for any info you can provide!
