In my region here are the president's rules that we play with.The 2 is the highest card but if we end our hand with this card we automatically become asshole = 4th rank. When you play a 7 the next player can play below it. When 2 players play the same card consecutively it passes the turn of the next player only if he can't play the same card. And when 4 identical cards are played consecutively the last player to have played it takes over and plays what he wants. The same goes for doubles. In addition, you can play equal or higher than the card in play. And finally when the president wins, nobody can play on his last cards. It is the next player who plays.
