Hi,

I'm keeping track of game sessions on BoardGameGeek, and since the pandemic there has been a lot of online game sessions I would like to add to those statistics.
Preferably I would like to build a plugin/interface/tool to transfer data from BGA to BGG without having to use scraping.

I saw the following post https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewto ... =9&t=15014 and am wondering if this is something that has been looked at? The post is now closed.

Hey, I would love to have this functionality too!
I'm clearly playing more on BGA, and started recently to log plays on BGG, and would love it to be synced. But I admit, if i have to do it by hand... it's not much fun

I'm my gaming groups official unofficial record keeper and using an API to pull recent games instead of lots (and lots) of clicking would be ideal!

Thanks for this! It is important to note however that this
(1) Probably only works with LibreOffice (not MS Excel!)
(2) Only works if your BGA language settings are French or English (or something that produces the same date formats like French/English).

The problem is that language settings also influence the date and time formats printed on BGA. So either you have to temporarily change language settings to French or English, or (better) adjust the "Date" and "Duration" column in the given ODS file according to your country's date/time format.

Yep, of course! It was more intended to be a base to adjust/craft to your situation (which, I guess, if you know how to run scripts you probably have knowledge to edit patterns on two of these lines), but it doesn't cost anything to specify it, right!

About Excel, is it about formulas or something like that? Can't these softwares convert function to each other formats? Or is it you can't paste table into it or something else?

Yes, it seems not straightforward for MS Excel to import formulas from other spreadsheet apps. With MS Excel, there are even different formulas in different countries and country settings can matter quite a lot. And I think pasting stuff from a browser also behaves different between different apps.
(Also another part of your 'manual' only works in LibreOffice, that is "Press backspace and tick 'objects'", it doesn't work like this in MS Excel.)

For those who don't know: LibreOffice is free and easy to install and use!
