Hosting a Premium game when not a Premium member?

Post by Marqzelli »

I'm currently a premium member (for now), but I did it the hard way... I used gift points (100) for that. It's almost a shame to not use them since they expire after a year. Since premium via this method lasts only for a month, I'm curious about something.

Let's say I created a game table of a premium game (e.g. Viticulture for 2P, turn-based), meaning I'm the host. And it's close to the end of my one-month duration (e.g. 3 days to go) for being a premium member. A non-premium member joins the table to play. Then gameplay stretched longer
than expected. At the end of the one-month-duration (i.e. after 3 days in this case), the game is only about half-way finished. By then, I would have reverted back to a standard account, meaning I cannot host a premium game (but can still join other games as a non-host). What happens to the ongoing premium game in this scenario?

a) The game continues as normal, since it was credited as "premium"-created at that time, (i.e. before the one-month limit expires).

b) The game ends automatically due to a technical. No winners, no losers. The game never happened.

c) The game will "pause" and the system will prompt a message to "pay" for premium before continuing with the game where it left off. So if I pay
after a week, I would continue with the game.

d) Similar to "c" except it's auto-charge. So if I have another 100 gift points, it auto-deducts without my consent. But if I had less than (another) 100 gift points, "b" happens. (No credit card info given yet).

e) Something else... (give answer).

Hosting is only opening a table, and changing settings.

Once the game starts, there is no longer a host.
