If the boardgame rules doesn't rule who wins if there's penalty then the penalty should be ruled by bga, espacially for k.o tournaments
I think it is the worst and unfair thing for gamers to loose points, kicked off from tournament when the penalty depends on such things as how long I am bga user (Piraten kapern) or the first letter of my username.... That wouldn't make sense, is unfair and frustrating.
If it is important to have a winner than there are many fair possibilites: play 1 round, resources, gold, mistakes, throws .... and let the player know it before he starts playing.
I hope you will change this to live fairplay
