"Abstract games" category?

Post by Miwarre »

It is me being blind (or dumb!) or there is no way to have a list of the "abstract" games?

The nearest thing seems to be Games then Specific category -> Classic, which however includes non-abstract games (Machiavelli?) and lack some real ones, like Hex.

Any change to have it implemented? Thanks!

You would better refer to this listing:

@Shobu: many thanks for the link, very useful.

However, this is for users already familiar with BGA, with its groups and perhaps having access to some "previous knowledge" (as I could take advantage of yours). For the newcomer or the person not yet familiar with BGA many areas, an obvious and first-menu-level entry for "abstract" games would be useful, I believe.

If, for whatever reason, "abstract" is not the preferred label, any other approximately equivalent would be fine as well.
