Azul is in beta

Post by Yasten »

Azul is a game of tile placement where you pick tiles then place them strategically

When this becomes available in Arena, I hope you'll limit it to 2 players.

That's what I suggested to BGA admins.

I hope we will add it later ! But as always, it's mainly depending on getting licence from publisher. I'll ask them after original Azul is released.

This I will never understand, people always asking for 2 player games.
I like to play competitive but I don’t want to play 20 different versions of chess.
Yes 2 player game of azul has less luck and is more strategic but I play other games then chess because I think some randomness is part of the fun of boardgames.

If you are looking for fun more than competition, simple games is better than arena, which is competition oriented.
Not everyone knows chess ;)

I also think that Azul is far more interesting and challenging with at least 3 players. Arena mode for Splendor is three players - for similar reasons.
