Reverse game outcome after a bug

I was a "victim" of bug which resulted in my opponent winning in a game that I could not loose.
How to reverse the outcome ?

Confirmed bug https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=53085 . I played two 1 hay cards. Only the first one was taken into account : boardgamearena.com/9/crazyfarmers?table=216914521 my last turn

Without this bug I would have won this game without a doubt : my opponent having no more cards and I would have been able to take the last field on the next turn

No, this cannot be changed, as the game outcome impact ELO, but changing the ELO in 1 game is not enough, as this also impacts ELO in follow up games, starts impacting other players, etc.. this becomes an exponential recalculation task.

It is just 1 game you lost, not the end of the world. It is just part of the service of the website, they cannot guarantee 100% perfect working games and calculations and you just have to deal with it.

What voriki is trying to say by that extremely non-surprising "BGA IS DISNEYLAND, NO MATTER WHAT" comment, is that you didn't actually "lose a game"...
You won fair and square, but the site sometimes has bugs, that make winners become losers (literally).

The reason this cannot be undone, is the RIPPLE EFFECT (explained above by that player).

I think that the game could have been fixed and ELOs could have been recalculated, IF NONE OF YOU AND THAT PERSON IN THE GAME... PLAYED ANY OTHER CRAZY FARMERS GAME AFTER, WHICH WOULD HAVED CHANGED THE ELOS BROUGHT BY THAT BUGGED GAME.
Also, if you wrote a caring administrator (and the other person in that game, to tell her/him to refrain from playing Crazy Farmers for a while, until solving the issue) or posted here, fast enough.

Anyway, sorry for your bug, it's unfortunate and rare, but instead of saying "nothing can be done, you LOST (???) a game, deal with it", some remorse or even "sorry" from the Gods, would have been better.

Afaik there never has been a case where ELO was restored for such - admins have lots of 100 times more important stuff to care about. Sometime they restore karma penalties after server issues, but ELO never is touched, no matter whether someone stopped playing that game or not.

No false hope/info, no nothing <= What i wrote in your 2nd. quote above, was still in the "I think" context.

This doesn't mean it is ok; also, there is a beginning (and an end) to anything.
If in a situation like this, the 2 players don't play any other game until the admins get notice of the bug, I don't see why the bug-fixing and the ELO-fixing wouldn't become 1 of those 100 important stuff.

It is just 1 game you lost, not the end of the world.

Indeed, losing a game in this... manner, is not the end of the world.
But forum complaining, fixing the bug(s), saying "sorry", fixing the ELOs if possible and giving feedback... these things are not the end of the world, either.

At least i am trying to bring some constructive ideas to this type of situations.

But I do look. It's just that one of the sides simply lacks depth, sometimes.

Out of me and you... I don't think I am the one one-sided.

I mean, I am not the one defending the site on absolutely every criticism someone brings to it (I do it when there's reason; here, there is not).
Something fishy there, one might say...

I perfectly understand the complexity of recalculating ELOs. Admins and devs have better things to do then recalculating ELOs (like correcting the bug, which they did, thanks ! ).

And indeed, it's no big deal to loose a few ELO or arena points.

The site is great and all great things also have small problems, I can deal with it and I hope everyone else can too.
