Hi guys,
first of all, thanks, for the great site and the lot of fun it shares to the community.
Though, there are a few things I really don't like and that regularly leads to a bad game play or forces me to break a game.
the other thing is: I play quite often, but usually at one-per-day base and usually espacially "big" games only one at a time. Unfortunalty, when I create a game, my earlier chosen settings are re-setted, meaning especially full open for high-profs. It's really no fun for me (and I guess a lot of other people), as an "adveanced average", to play with high-profs. Some games are even just broken if high-profs are there (see Tzolkin without market-restriction. In an average-player game this just don't belong, with high-profs it's a critcal fact). Also, some games have a lot of options to choose, that dramatically change the game (i.e. Carcassone or Race for the galaxy). If you prefer one special option and don't like some ohters, it's very unsatisfying accidently start a new game, overseen that the setting were resetted.
Solution: Don't re-set the game settings to default after some time. I did not count it, but it seems to me that this happens after 2 weeks or 1 month after not creating a new game. This if especially for long game far too short and also if you usually first look if there is an game waiting before creating a new one. I also have no idea, what benefit from this resetting happens, I guess the memory storage of the database should not be troubled, is it?
Thanks for reading!
And also a great holidays!
