Playing against NPC or AI players

Hello and good day,
Sorry if this question has been asked in the forums.
I searched with keywords NPC and found 10 posts from a single threat, related to a specific game but not in general.

My question is.
For competitive games that require 3+ players , is there a way to allow the third or additional players be controlled by AI or NPC?
Does this feature already exist? If yes, how or where can I make the change.

For example. I wanted to play Tobago.
Me and a friend play on our BGA accounts and I am able to allow for 1 or 2 AI controlled players. To have a 3 or 4 player game.
Is this possible?

Much appreciated if BGA allows for this.

Doesnt exist afaik, and would need to be programmed on a game-by-game basis with huge effort to be of reasonable strength, so very unlikely to happen and be worth the effort.

It is not possible. You will have to play with a real 3rd opponent
