Why does someone like this get to keep ruining the website for the rest of us? Go look- VERY BAD 0 KARMA, 536 abandons and 1,429 over the time limit. Currently signed up for 298 more turn based games. This is a troll who intentionally signs up on tournaments where we can't say no, just to ruin our games. So by default:

0% Karma gets you into a tournament.
<100 ELO then no you can't join a tournament.

Not with this player. GO LOOK! This player signs up and never ever plays. Just signs up to ruin games and it has been going on a for a very long time. GO LOOK!! I posted the link to this players stats and there is no excuse. It is intentional.

Just checked a couple of games which were older than 12 days, you're probably right.
It is possible to exclude players with the setting "Restrict by reputation". Maybe a limit of tournaments would be also useful?

People who timeout on too many tournament games should be banned from entering tournaments for awhile.

Better be careful with assumptions. There could be other reasons too.

Even before he disappeared, he was a pain in tournaments.
He was usually signed on 400+ Tables, and he couldn't finish 10-20% of the games and more 30-40% he finished out of time.
I noticed that since last november. And he was always online.

But it's obviously that he couldn't handle 400+ games at once xD.

Completely agree, this player is ruining another King of Tokyo tournament (I was in at least 2 other tournaments that this guy never showed up).

And I can't even place a proper report on this guy, BGA says that I can't report a player on his first game on a boardgame (he has more than 60 games of King of Tokyo LOL).

Karma is fairly meaningless when people can rebuild it from 0 to 100 within an hour or so of lots of games of Connect 4 or something else quick to play. Once someone's already signed up to a tournament, it doesn't matter that their karma slips back down to 0 between them signing up and the tournament starting - they're still enrolled and there's nothing the tournament host can do.

There are multiple threads about this player across multiple sub-forums here on BGA, spanning many months. You can't search on the name though as it's been edited out as we're not meant to use the forums to complain about specific named players.

As I've said in other similar threads; I'd cap timed-games that people can have simultaneously at 150-200 as an absolute maximum. Unless someone's only playing the shortest of games and/or happy to dedicate almost all their waking hours to taking turns, then much over 100 games at a time is pretty unsustainable for anyone for anything more than a few days in a row.

Anyone know how to get BGA to actually do something about a problem? It seems like they take money and ignore everything that happens. There is no way to report these problems. Anybody else getting sick of this and wondering if there’s another place to play games? Where is BGA and why do they never respond to this? It is a sincere issue that needs addressing it has been going on for many months with absolute ignoring from BGA
