Setting for playing hours - an 'are you sure?' option for tournaments

Post by Neelie »

I have accidentally signed up for tournaments outside of my playing hours which leads to me running out of time. OOPS!

I'd love an option where I can set my playing hours and if I try to join a tournament that has playing hours outside of mine it would ask something like, "This tournament has playing hours that are outside of your playing hours, are you sure you want to join?"

It could be an opt-in setting for those who don't need this sort of...double check ;P

For tournaments and also for fast turn-based-tables this would indeed be a great addition. It's annoying for both sides, when this happens, but it's a totally understandable human error.

However the check of overlap can't be too strict. It doesn't need to be an exact match.
Maybe best would be to make it an optional setting to fill in active/sleep hours and you only get a warning pop-up IF you filled that out in your profile AND overlap is too bad.

I would support something like this, rather than the multiple posts to restrict tables by time zones. Ideally people will always check table settings, but unfortunately people don't. :(
