turn-based game concession??

Post by karenparis »

So, a player ran out of time and I nicely allowed to go to turn-based. This has been going on forever. I was ahead. Opponent at -28 days. I got an email that I conceeded. I did not. HOw did this happen and why?

Games are automatically abandoned after a month of inactive play, nd no-one gets an ELO boost. It shouldn't say you have CONCEEDED though.

Shouldn't be something that can accidentally happen. (Just tested on a game I wouldn't be allowed to concede in because it hadn't passed 50% played yet). while I could see an accidental press of the button in the menu, getting the confirmation window asking you to confirm you're conceding wouldn't be the same accidental press.

I know I managed to accidentally quit a game once, but I think that was an accidental press when I wanted something else from the menu, so things could happen.
Actually I think that was from the table teaching window when I went to report a bug and not the hamburger menu.
