Cannot attack with 2nd infantry after neglecting to "take ground" after Close Assault combat

I played "Probe: 2 orders in the centre section" and selected 2 infantry units. I did not move any of them. Attack phase I selected 1 infantry to attack, the opponent retreated 1 space (flag on the die) and the game asked me if I wanted to Take Ground. I selected "Pass". Now the game asks me to "restart my turn, or CONFIRM".

I have not had an opportunity to use my second infantry.

If I select CONFIRM does it end my turn?

During the combat phase, units that do not have a target in range and in their line of sight (for infantry/armor) do not battle. When all the ordered units that can do it have battled, the phase ends.
