How do I get BGA to respond to my bug reports?

How do I get BGA to respond to my bug reports? 4 months have passed, and the reports are supported by a good bunch of players (including top pros of the game and premium members), and the fix should be easy. Yet, there is nothing, no response, no acknowledgment. I am getting disappointed in BGA.

This is the most important report:

You are confusing bga with the game developpers who are mostly volonteers. So yeah, there are no guarantee to have any answer but still useful to report bugs and suggestion. if you are really bothered by that you might want to join the dev and fix that yourself :)

My first thought whenever someone asserts it should be an "easy fix." lol

If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

Or you can pay someone to do it (if you find someone who accepts the "job"). And no, paying for premium is not the same as paying someone to do it.

Let me just nuance that a bit: as I said *most* game are developped by volonteer, but not all. With the generated revenue, BGA is now (since the covid audience boom) able to hire some freelancer devs for the most popular games, and these contracts both implies a greater game quality and some bug tracking during at least 3 months after the release. So you are effectively paying someone to do it for these developped games.
But Centery Road is not a freelance contract iirc, so yeah, premium money imply nothing in this case.

If an interface called 'bug report' is provided, then the answer should not be to join the developer team.

Century: Spice Road was pushed from beta into release with a bunch of open (that is, never-looked-at) bug reports. I would assume that release comes with some sort of responsibility towards the game quality. Apparently not, which I find disturbing.

Anyhow, from your responses it seems that I could try to contact the developer and see where we get.

Fair enough. My point, however was that some people seem to think that because they're paying members, they are entitled to some particular privileges (e.g., their bug reports should be given top priority, etc.), when the only benefits of premium are the features listed in https://boardgamearena.com/premium

They also say things like "I'm already paying premium, why should I pay more for getting bugs fixed?". Well, my view is that paying premium implies only those features, so yes, if you want something else (generic "you", not anyone in this thread in particular) you may need to spend more money (or find it for free elsewhere). Of course, if many people stop paying premium because they're dissatisfied with the bugs at BGA, that could make BGA reconsider the model, but that's a different matter.

Why ? It's exactly the same as saying to someone that has an issue with some features of a github repo to try to create a fix and create a pull request to merge that into the main branch. If that's a community work (which is the case here), then it's a perfectly valid answer.
You are finding this answer innapropriate because, as previously said, you are thinking that premium implies some rights that are not actually true. Premium is here mostly to pay for the service : servers, people maintaining and improving the main site and the framework for game devs, community manager, ...

Release does usually imply some quality standard but not that much compared to what one might expect, and yeah i understand why you can find it weird but that's current BGA policy for release : quantity over quality (which does not mean that all games are full of bugs though), which indeed might cause some players to stop premium.

Hi,
as said before, the game is developed as a FREE project on developer's FREE time.
Sometimes people have less FREE time after game has been released.

You've asked a lot of times for a confirmation button. There is no bug here, only a suggestion.
Does this prevent the game from working ? No.
Is there any red code priority here ? No.

It's summer time, try to be patient.
